Brief About JTC....
To know JTC better, you'll need to understand our motives. One of our major tasks is to improve the education sector nationwide, as the rate of failure and malpractice is on the increase and this greatly undermines our national development. The devastating effects of examination malpractices are usually expressed through the erosion of creativity, resourcefulness, ingenuity, technical know-how, and moral values.
Industries and corporate organisations suffer because people who are qualified for the jobs are in the real sense not qualified for the jobs as they cheated their way through, most often through examination malpractices.
As a contribution to our national development in the long run, we aim at reducing the amounts of failures and malpractices by training students to be academically sound regardless of their initial academy strength. We believe the minds of teens have evolved to contain more information.
The mindset of students is their most important weapon, our major task is to convince them that they can become anything they believe in and we then give them what they really need to excel in their academic career. By giving them quality teaching, give enough assignments to keep them busy, do follow up and also discipline them. We access them continually to check their progress.
JTC is barely a year old and we already had some little achievements to serve as a motivation for us to do more. We were able to build a strong and competitive student community in which other students are inspired to develop very fast. In less than three months, we trained students for the just concluded UTME and about 40% of them scored above 300 and majority of them scored above 280. A number of them scored 99% in at most 1 subject and one of them scored 99% in both Chemistry and Physics.
For the last WASSCE, 100% of the students we trained had excellent results and they had the best results in their respective schools. All of our full time students that did the last two GCE made their result and most of them, including the average ones now top their respective school. We also support schools that are against malpractices to keep in the mind of people that yes we have schools that don't allow their students to cheat for exams and have fantastic results.
